we noticed a strange fault in solar inverter showing error ‘ phase to phase voltage’ while we switched ON 5 Kw grid connected solar power plant. Customer has been given 3 phase Electricity Meter by PGVCL.
when we checked at the bus bar located in the electric room of the user agency we found only single phase was available there. Hence, We visited electric pole of PGVCL where its transformer was located, located nearly at 1 km from the 5 kw solar power plant site, we found to our surprise that 3 phase were combined at grid supply.
hence problem occurred that solar inverter would not start (ramp up) until PGVCL provided 3 phase power supply to user.
